About Tech Trek
Tech Trek is a summer camp for girls that focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Campers spend one week on a university campus - they live in the dorms, eat in the cafeteria, attend labs and classes, and learn what it might be like to be a college student.
The camp is funded through local fundraisers, donations, and partnerships which means that students who do not normally have the opportunity to attend summer camp are able to attend Tech Trek.
While there are a total of 10 Tech Trek camps throughout California, students from the Bakersfield area all attend the camp held each summer at CSU Fresno.
