Eligibility
Membership is open to any graduate with an associate (or equivalent) or baccalaureate (or higher) degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Undergraduates enrolled in such an institution may become student affiliates. Student affiliates may participate fully in all branch, state, and association programs.

Membership is not by invitation. In principle and practice, AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership. There are no barriers to full participation in this organization on the basis of gender, race, national origin, creed, age, sexual orientation, or disability.
Annual Dues
Annual membership dues are $104. This includes $25 for branch dues, $20 for state dues, and $59 for national association dues. Lifetime membership in the national association is also available.
Recruitment
Recruiting new members is everyone's responsibility. When you know of a qualified prospective member, notify the membership vice president, who will send that person an informative letter, AAUW brochure and application, and an invitation to join us at upcoming events. Guests are welcome at branch programs.

If you know a soon-to-be or recent graduate, offer them a free AAUW national membership. There is no limit on the number of memberships you can gift. Find more information here.
